Community Survey Findings Report
Listening to our community is at the heart of everything we do.
Between March and May 2025, Hokonui Community-Led Health invited community members to share their experiences, perspectives, and aspirations for health and wellbeing in our region. A total of 225 people participated in the survey, providing valuable insights into quality of life, health and wellbeing, and experiences with local health services.
The findings paint a largely positive picture, with respondents reporting a strong sense of wellbeing and optimism about the future. At the same time, the survey highlighted areas where improvements are needed, particularly around access to health services, service availability, and waiting times.
The survey provides an important snapshot of our community and establishes a baseline for measuring change over time. Most importantly, it ensures that future planning and decision-making are informed by the voices and experiences of local people.
The insights gathered continue to guide our priorities, strengthen our partnerships, and help us focus on the issues that matter most to the Hokonui community.
