The Gore Kids Hub team had a fantastic time at the Gore Christmas Carnival 2024, welcoming around 55 families despite a rainy start to the day. Once the sun came out in the afternoon, families enjoyed the new outdoor games, which were a big hit for all ages. The activities created opportunities for parents and children to connect and make special memories together during a time of year that can be challenging for some.

Hokonui Hauora Fund supported the games, which included a bubble machine, disco ball and lights, wooden skittles, giant dominoes, giant tumble tower, giant quoits, and giant connect 4. The bubble machine and disco setup will feature at the team’s upcoming annual disco. The event was a wonderful way for the Gore Kids Hub to engage with families, offering a welcoming and fun environment that brought the community together.
